Yoruba Actress Jailed For Cocaine Trafficking Opens Up

Taiwo Akinwande, a popular movie actress popularly known as Yetunde Wunmi was convicted for cocaine trafficking and sentenced to 2 years in prison.
Before her arrest, Yetunde Wunmi was a usual fixture in the Yoruba movie industry where she displayed her exemplary acting skills.
She finally opened up about her conviction saying that that episode was her only regret in life.

“It was a sad experience for me to remember because that event almost cost me my life,” she said.
Having learnt her lesson the hard way, the actress says that she is back on her feet by the grace of God.

“The truth is that I didn’t allow my past experience to weigh me down. I didn’t allow it to disturb my future.”
