Clean Sweep! R2Bees Bag Six Awards At Ghana Music Awards 2013

It was a very big night for the Hip-life acts R2Bees at the 2013 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards which held on Saturday, May 19, 2013.

The duo carted home all of six awards – ‘Song of the year’, ‘Hiplife song of the year’, ‘Hiplife/Hiphop artiste of the year’, ‘Best group of the year’, ‘Hiplife song of the year’ and the biggest of the night ‘Artiste of the year’.

Another big winner of the night was HipHop artiste M.Anifest who won the ‘Hiphop song of the year’ and beat Sarkodie to win the ‘Best rapper of the year’ awards.

The best recording went to the very talented Efya while Wizkid beat Psquare, D’banj, Flavour, Davidoand Iyanya to win the ‘African Artiste of the Year’ award.
